July 2: hot dog buns

we love america. bear with us, you reliably liberal middle brow customers. we love the woman filling the pothole or fixing the downed power line before all our dough overproofs. we love the man guiding our kids across the street after school everyday. we love the michigan farmer hanging a giant, DIY black lives matter sign on his northern michigan roadside barn.

we love the people. the people who make america. not the shitty, faux patriotic ideals and decals and costumes. but the people around us. and the hot dogs. ...

so, we're making HOT DOG BUNS. for your celebration of the american people. who, in some short time, will stop treating politics as a team sport. and will get back to focusing on their neighborhood. and on what's for dinner.
